The beginning of the week is always a blank page, a book ready to be written or a path ready to receive our footprints, sometimes misaligned or meaningless. Is that why walking around life is sometimes as interesting as going straight to an objective?
Gabrielle brings with Dreams (# 2 UK Single Charts), a message that everything we want can happen, it can be brought to us, as long as we have the courage to say what we feel, even if it is a maybe, an uncertainty. After all, that's what hope exists for, we find those eyes that we fall in love with and hold us for eternity. We are not all the same, and Find Your Way, the title of this album, is a message that paths do cross with each other, go separate ways and, who knows, later, when we least expect it, they come together again for brief moments of nostalgia. So, the first track on album is Going Nowhere album was the first footprint on the beach .... now, without plans, we took advantage of this mix of pop and acoustic, with a peculiar voice to put aside plans and live the moment.

Quando a semana ainda vai a meio, assim como aqueles papéis mal organizados em cima da mesa, com todos os post its cheio de anotações, agendas repletas de riscos e de palavras mal desenhadas, não é possível, num belo dia de sol e de calor quase primaveril, estragarmos a alegria que sentimos com coisas sem sentido.
Cried Me a River, apesar de escrito no passado, é um sentimento bem presente com uma letra melodiosa que nos reporta a campos onde vemos desabrocharem flores de esperança. Não devemos nos importar sempre com tudo que nos dizem, não devemos sequer sentir dor de quem não quer ser ajudado ou, até mesmo, de quem usa uma certa chantagem sensual para agarrar o nosso olhar e nos fazer deixar de ver.
Jersey St, neste conto de vocal house, atinge essa maturidade que, para muitos, demora anos a desenvolver, mas que é perfeitamente atingível com toda a nossa história de vida.Tal como a vida, existem aqui duas edições neste 12", a versão vocal house, com a história bem contada à nossa frente e a versão dub, que mais não é que uma versão instrumental para nós escrevermos momentos da nossa história num banco de jardim ou num passeio junto ao mar...

When the week is still in the middle, as well as those badly organized papers on the table, with all the post its full of notes, diaries full of risks and badly drawn words, it is not possible, on a beautiful spring day of sun and heat, spoiling the joy we feel with meaningless things.
Cried Me a River, despite written in the past, is a very present feeling with melodious lyrics that takes us to fields where we see flowers of hope blooming. We shouldn't always care about everything they tell us, we shouldn't even feel pain from those who don't want to be helped or even from those who use a certain sensual blackmail to grab our gaze and make us stop seeing things.
Jersey St, in this vocal house tale, reaches that maturity that, for many, takes years to develop, but which is perfectly attainable with our entire life story. Em 2021, após momentos de alguma energia bem negativa, reparamos que não somos aqueles que éramos em 2007, mas mantemos toda a nossa originalidade, com um travo bem mais clássico, qual vinho do Porto, qual quê? Mas será mudámos realmente?
(Provavelmente,) NÃO! E ainda bem... não temos que, agora, ter medo da nossa originalidade e do que somos, pensamos, cremos e gostamos. Assim, Let Me Reintroduce Myself, em estilo que combina reggae, ska, pop é um sing-a-long que remete a tempos de pôr do sol, uma caipirinha e uma areia bem branca. Para além disso, prova que quando avançámos pelos anos da nossa vida, reparamos que cada momento de lá atrás, ficou presente no nosso futuro (seremos sempre uns 90's kid?). Tal como Gwen Stefany, que dispensa apresentações, também nós passámos por momentos musicais apaixonantes bem diferentes, mas que nos fazem aquilo que somos hoje, pois tivémos aquelas histórias tristes de Cool e já dançámos até de manhã bem mais ricos do que estamos hoje ...
Em suma, o single que chegou ao #17 no Billboard US Digital Sales, apenas serve de aperitivo ao próximo álbum desta que vem, desde 1996, dizendo que era apenas uma menina (I'm Just A Girl), mas que soube, muito bem, como transformar o mundo, quando se tornou a lenda urbana de Hollaback Girl.

In 2021, after moments of some very negative energy, we noticed that we are not the ones we were in 2007, but we keep all our originality, with a much more classic taste, Port Wine, or what? But did we really change?
(Probably) NOT! And thankfully ... now, we don't have to be afraid of our originality and what we are, think, believe and love. Thus, Let Me Reintroduce Myself, in a style that combines reggae, ska, pop is a sing-a-long that refers to times of sunset, a caipirinha and very white sand. Furthermore, it proves that when we went through the years of our life, we noticed that every moment from there, was present in our future (will we always be some 90's kid?). Like Gwen Stefany, who needs no introduction, we also had very different passionate musical moments, but they make us what we are today, because we had those sad stories from Cool and we danced until the morning much richer than we are today ...
In short, the single that reached #17 on the Billboard US Digital Sales, only serves as an aperitif to the next album of this girl, who since 1996 has been saying that she is just a girl (I'm Just A Girl), but that she knew, very well, how to transform the world, when became the urban legend of Hollaback Girl.
