Os dias estão num misto de cinzento e azul claro, recortados por raios de sol amarelos e quentes que alegram a vista, tornam os dias mais suportáveis e, sem sombra de dúvida, cheios de esperança.

Alphawezen, banda alemã composta por Asu Yalcindag e Ernst Wawra, trazem esta luz com Gai Soleil, retirado do álbum L'après-midi d'un Microphone (reeditado em 2017 em streaming com uma completa listagem de remisturas). Luz essa cheia de sensualidade, de questões ininterruptas. Vagueamos mentalmente pelas praias que nos satisfazem no verão, tal como fizemos durante as paixões arrebatadoras que fomos tendo ao longo dos anos (ou dias ... não interessa; o tempo é uma mera invenção humana) e nos faziam crescer enquanto acreditávamos que nos estavam a destruir quando terminavam.  Tal como o mar, recolhemos para reflectir e observamos cada bocadinho do nosso ser para, depois, voltarmos com toda a força chegando a criar marés vivas, ondas gigantes, remoinhos de coisas boas ou más, mas que não são mais do que momentos de aprendizagem.

Gai Soleil, nesta edição, tem duas remisturas de Terry lee Brown Junior que nos fazem levantar o pé e começar a dançar pelas areias ainda frias da Primavera. Vão criar um momento em que o nosso eu se encontra com o seu mar interior, vai fazer reflectir sobre cada momento que temos ou tivemos a dois mas, acima de tudo .... vai trazer um grande raio de sol na nossa vida que se vai encontrar com novos desafios quando bater, suavemente, numa nova costa de areias brancas.

The days are in a mix of gray and light blue, cut out by hot and sought after rays of light that brighten the view, make the days more bearable and, without a doubt, full of hope.

Alphawezen, a German band composed of Asu Yalcindag and Ernst Wawra, bring this light with Gai Soleil, taken from the album L'après-midi d'un Microphone (reissued in 2017 in streaming with a complete list of remixes). This light is full of sensuality, of uninterrupted questions. We wander mentally along the beaches that satisfy us in the summer, just as we did during the overwhelming passions that we have had over the years (or days ... it doesn't matter; time is a mere human invention) and made us grow while we believed they were there to destroy us when they finished. Like the sea, we gather to reflect and observe every little bit of our being so that, afterwards, we return with all our strength, creating lively tides, giant waves, swirls of good or bad things, but which are nothing more than moments of learning. 

Gai Soleil, in this edition, has two remixes by Terry Lee Brown Junior that make us lift our feet and start dancing through the cold sands of Spring. They will create a moment in which we meet our inner seas, it will make us reflect on every moment we have or had as a couple but, above all ... it will bring a great ray of sunshine in our life and encounter new challenges when it hits a new shore of white sands.

Uma semana pesada de trabalho, em que a vida só passa perante um ecrã que muda de imagens entre contas Teams, Google e Sapo. Uma semana de trabalho em que as passwords se misturam, as imagens se fundem numa mescla de ficheiros e as palavras deixam de fazer sentido ao fim da tarde ... por isso, as conversas às 20 horas não fazem sentido algum. E a uma sexta-feira, poderão elas ser necessárias? Não parece que sejam!

Num dos dias menos alegres, redescobrimos a versão de um CD-R bem velhinho com o som que uma rádio de Lisboa se fazia conhecer no Porto. Talvez por isso, o som desta semana tivesse um travo de revivalismo, por entre discotecas como o SoundPlanet, Rocks ou até mesmo, 8 Graus Oeste na Veneza Portuguesa e a extinta Elektro Parade do Porto. Será este cenário que serve de abertura a uma compilação com 21 anos mas que contém o que de melhor (ou não) se fez num ano de música prontinha para martelar as pistas de dança, alcançar as tabelas de vendas e se tornarem clássicos. Exemplos? Não faltam ... Rui da Silva, com Touch me (nº1 no Reino Unido), Celeda com o som repetitivo e viciante de Underground, Deep Dish e Everything but the Girl, Da Hool e Funkstar Deluxe com Grace Jones e Barry White....

Não precisamos de muitas explicações, porque uma sexta com o tema "Do you remember?", só necessita de uma boa coluna no volume acima do aceitável, para acreditarmos que, em breve, uma extended version do nosso hit favorito irá estar prontinha para aquecer um dancefloor que, há um ano, nos espera .... ansiosamente! Por agora, afasta a mobília da sala e ...

A heavy week of work, in which life only passes in front of a screen that changes images between Teams, Google and Sapo accounts. A work week in which passwords are mixed, images are merged into a mixture of files and words no longer make sense in the late afternoon ... so conversations at 8 pm make no sense. And on a Friday, could they be necessary? It doesn't look like they are!

On one of the less joyful days, we rediscovered the version of a very old CD-R with the sound from a Lisbon radio which was becoming known in Porto. Perhaps this is why this week's sound had a touch of revival, among clubs such as SoundPlanet, Rocks or even, 8 Graus Oeste(1) in Portuguese Venice(2) and the extinct Elektro Parade in Porto. It will be this scenario that opens a 21-year-old compilation but that contains the best (or not) made in a year of music ready to bump the dancefloors, reach the sales charts and become classics. Examples? There are a lot  ... Rui da Silva, with Touch me (No. 1 in the UK), Celeda with the repetitive and addictive sound of Underground, Deep Dish and Everything but the Girl, Da Hool and Funkstar Deluxe with Grace Jones and Barry White....

We don't need many explanations, because a Friday with the theme "Do you remember?",  just needs a good speaker in highest volume acceptable, to believe that, soon, an extended version of our favorite hit will be ready to warm up a dancefloor that has been waiting for us for a year ... eagerly! NOw, make room in your living room and ...
