Daft Punk

We aren't Lucky!

English/ Inglês

Mondays are always bearers of headaches and long weekend wishes, and we all know that. Now, being on a Monday when we have the news that one of the best electronic music duos ever finish their activity, in the living-room after work, that already makes it even more unbearable. We aren't Lucky!

Since Homework, the Parisian duo comprised of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter have been entertaining us and made us start singing Around the World in loop on various dancefloors, even in the late 90s. Not only giving credibility to electronic music, but influencing with its french house / electronic sound and catapulting to the tops countless singles in a set of 4 studio albums and a soundtrack. A fascinating legacy!

Digital Love thus becomes a less joyful story when we know, across the internet, that one of our musical lovers, split up. After all, robots, too, do not believe in love forever ... can we ask for a return One More Time?

this is my MESSAGE OUT TO YOU!

by perplex3r, em 26.04.17

English/Inglês
When we walk along the beach, close to the sea and one of the waves come with all that cold foam and hit your feet ... you feel this initial chilling cold, you look at the horizon and think you want to stay there, watching the sunset forever and ever. This is the sensation that André Tanneberger's most recent single provokes us, in addition to transporting us to a nostalgic moment lived by two people. Suddenly, we see a small object floating in the water ... we see a small bottle, sent by a castaway from the northern seas, and we read that this musical message has two versions - a radio and extended version - being the original taken from the most recent double album Next released on April 21 and features Robbin & Jonis and F51.
We all know that some years have passed since 9PM (Till I Come) has reached number 1 in the UK Chart (the first trance single ever to reach it), as well as panoply of albums, singles and double compilations, but we can still that soft trance summer feeling, that chill after spending the whole afternoon lying on the towel shared with the one we love and our skin popping because of all that salt. This happens because ATB continues to keep his characteristic sound, simple lyrics, although full of meaning and at the same time, adds a more recent production but moving away from the electronic music we hear nowadays, almost like coming from a different world.
Maybe the words on the track are not the ones convey  the message you want to send, but they may well be the starting point for breaking the ice with whom you winked the eye last holiday’s eve, talk to that friend again who, for reasons apart, you stop writing to or, more importantly, start a conversation with yourself. Choose the bottle, the paper, the pen and leave nothing to be said ...

BEACHBALL ... yeah! let's go to da beach!

Aproveita!

The temperature has risen over the last few days, there are already towels on the sand and a scent of sunscreen floats in the air air, but that everyone already knew ... but to this taste of summer a track that would open the summer season in a unimaginable month was missing. That's why Nalin & Kane brought Beachball to tell us that we are not crazy to dive into the cold waters of the northern beaches because the summer came earlier.
Nalin & Kane are a duo of German producers composed by Andry Nalin and Harry Kane who in 1997 reached number 1 with this single, provoked a buzz in electronic music, then remixed classics like Da Hool's Meet Her At The Love and Cafe Del Mar De from Energy 52. It will be, then, almost a birthday edition that the remixes by Sebastian Schilde brings to us in 2017, retaining the feeling and the original vocals of the first edition. For some, it will not bring big parties on the beach, but no doubt that124Bpm will make you grab a few beers, two or three friends and allow yourself to enjoy the sunset on a hot day. For now, we are expecting some remixes but, released by Kontor Records, there is only the radio and the extended versions that will cheer up your Monday.
In short, start unpacking like your flip-flops take off your swimming trunks and beachballs .... and since tomorrow is a holiday, how about Beachballin' with friends? Enjoy!

Warning / Aviso: Eargasmic track! Naughty .... but nice!

English/ Inglês
It's Friday and we are almost all leaving our offices, schools and everything that makes us yearn for the weekend. We can forsee a late afternoon with a table full of beers from all over the world, a hazy look behind the sunglasses, a flirt while queueing for the bar and lots of laid back laughter. That's when we can take the sentence I can teach you a thing or two and give it all the correct connotation when the time we feel hotter arrives .... and this heat is caused by  anything but the weather!
That's why, Yeah Yeah 2017 (nº1 Billboard's Dance Club Songs)  is there to accompany you through the night ... and even into the morning, in that after party that (for sure?) you can go. Originally released in 2007 (nº2 UK Charts) by Bodyrox, the anniversary version is produced by Dave Audé, but retains the fabulous, eccentric and powerful voice of Luciana (she's already a reference in this blog and has collaborated with Martijn Ten Velden, Richard Vission and Mark Knight) and adds all the beats and loops for any party this year. The version of the video is much more aggressive ... not advisable to those who fear a dancefloor full of lights, sunglasses, and and loads of drinks, as it can cause an eargasm right there. The version was remixed by Tom Staar and is extremely addictive and for many it may represent the sound needed for 7 a.m..
It will be on the dancefloor or even around noon, after we crawl through the streets to get home, drinking water and feeling the sun and the world is already awaken, that you can teach something ... or more than one ! We all know there are things that it is not necessary to be a teacher to teach ....
Have a nice weekend!

You're Hot Luciana...I Like That, too!

Explosive! Addictive! Orgasmic!
These are the three words with which one can describe the new collaboration of Luciana Caporaso, who had already offered to the common mortals  Covered In  Punk, with PortobellaYeah Yeah and What Planet You On, with Bodyrox, I Wish You Would with Martijn Ten Velden and resumed her originality on  Bigger Than Big, with Super Mal.

The Summer had just begun and one could already feel a huge heat wave without any precedents, as if her unique voice and style weren’t the ones to be blame for leading loads of people to buy electric fans to their houses. That is why I Like That is a new and exciting single with Richard Vission and Static Revenge, in which we taste a well mix share of pop, rock and electro, listen to Caporaso’s aggressive vocals yet melodic and hear the lyrics that contain metaphors like My Body Rocks A Rhythm/You Beat My Drum Hard, which lead to sinful thoughts. (Nevermind, one can confess on Sunday).
After the collaborations that brought Featuring Luciana, this musical storm will release her second (solo) album this year… I Like That (a LOT!).

Explosivo! Viciante!
I Like That (a LOT!).
