As segundas-feiras, mesmo sem o tráfego aborrecido, correrias para os últimos autocarros e as longas esperas pelos comboios suburbanos atrasados continuam, virtualmente, a serem esgotantes quando queremos viajar para o conforto do nosso lar.
La Maison de Gabin, que associa o clássico piano com bossa nova conduz, mesmo sem uma voz que nos direccione, para um momento relaxante pós dia de trabalho. Vamos fazer aquela viagem de regresso, cansados, ligeiramente tristes, mas sabemos que aquele jantar a dois vai deliciar a nossa alma e, se não for caso disso, o nosso sofá vai fazer com que não nos sintamos sozinhos em frente uma imagem pixelizada de um serviço de streaming qualquer. É isso que o primeiro álbum desta banda italiana, composta por Filippo Clary e Max Bottini, nos consegue fazer sentir, mesmo depois de melodias repletas de sons com influências jazz e vocais que recorrem a histórias de Gypsy Kings, a damas fumadoras de film noir e de música electrónica do início do século XXI, com letras em inglês, espanhol e francês.
Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap (nº3 em Itália) é o single para a sexta-feira mas, como iniciámos a semana, ficamo-nos com La Maison, para percorrermos o quartos que ficaram fechados durante o dia, os corredores que estavam escuros e que, agora, com a noite, estão cheios de luz. Podemos ainda, de forma subtil, após abrirmos o relaxante vinho tinto, viajar por mil e uma histórias de amor adormecidas com Une Histoire D'Amour ou Mille et Une Nui Des Desires, que nos relembra dos percursos para casa, em tempos de estudante, após termos aberto o nosso coração por entre o escuro frio, debaixo de um candeeiro sem cor de rua meio apagado, num dia cincento, ao dizermos:

Mondays, even without the boring traffic, the run for the last buses and the long waits for the delayed trains, they continue to be virtually exhausting when we want to travel to the comfort of our home.
La Maison de Gabin, which combines the classic piano with bossa nova, leads, even without a voice to direct us, to a relaxing moment after work. We are going to make that return trip, tired, slightly sad, but we know that dinner for two will delight our soul and, if not, our sofa will make us not feel alone in front of a pixelated image of a any streaming service. This is what the first album of this Italian band, composed by Filippo Clary and Max Bottini, can make us feel, even after melodies full of sounds with jazz influences and vocals that resort to the stories of Gypsy Kings, smoking film noir actresses and electronic music from the beginning of the 21st century, with lyrics in English, Spanish and French.
Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap (No. 3 in Italy) is the single for Friday but, as we started the week, we get stuck with La Maison, to go through the rooms that were closed during the day, the corridors that were dark and, now are full of light at night. We can also, in a subtle way, after opening the relaxing red wine, travel One Thousand and One Nights with Une Histoire D'Amour or Mille et Une Nui Des Desires, which reminds us of the journeys home, in student times, after we opened our hearts through the cold darkness, under a dimly lit street lamp, on a gray day, when we said:
