Neste dia bem quente, nada melhor que um refresco musical pela voz de Pixie Lott. A cantora britânica volta este ano, com Anton Powers,com um som mais propício aos fins de tarde com muito sol, Somersby q.b., muitos sorrisos e histórias divertidas. As melodias pop da cantora, que iniciou logo com um número um, o divertido Mama Do (2009), estão lá atrás no tempo. Após as suas viagens musicais por três álbuns, com Baby, ainda sem remisturas extra (apenas uma versão acústica), sentimos aquele feeling de verão, bem up-to-date, despretensioso e fresco. Anton Powers também não é um novato nestas andanças. O Dj e produtor viu Alone No More com Phillip George chegar a nº1, já remisturou Ellie Goulding, Olly Murs e Lady Gaga e actuou no Creamfields e Tomorrowland.
If you Love Me, Show Me inicia esta narrativa, uma vez que Pixie sabe que todas as histórias, páginas ou até mesmo capítulos de amor estão repletas de metáforas, hipérboles e diminutivos. Sinceros, ou não, não deixam de ser palavras e, todos sabemos, "palavras leva-as o vento". Mas não existe, ao mesmo tempo, tantas coisas às quais não damos o devido valor que são o complemento dessas palavras, mas que já as tomamos como garantidas? Quando alguém corre para o metro após um dia de trabalho só para te ver, passa horas intermináveis no trânsito para irem jantar juntos, partilha os últimos dez euros que tem na carteira para ir comer pizza contigo e, mais que isso, te faz feliz só porque tu provocas um brilho nos seus olhos? Talvez, esta, seja uma leitura demasiado profunda de uma canção de batidas dançáveis demasiado alegres.
Assim,no mundo,nem tudo é mensurável ou eterno, mas esta canção veio, quanto mais não seja, alegrar uma quarta-feira de primavera, em que estamos a precisar de outra Somersby bem fresca ... porque companhia, essa, já a temos e não há palavras que a descrevam!

On this hot day, there's nothing better than a musical refreshment from Pixie Lott's voice. The British singer returns this year, with Anton Powers, with a proper sound for  late sunny afternoons, lots of Somersby many smiles and fun stories. The pop melodies of the singer, who started right with a number one, the entertaining Mama Do (2009), are way in the past. After her musical trips through three albums, with Baby, still without extra remixes (only an acoustic version), we have that summer feeling, up-to-date, unpretentious and fresh. Anton Powers is not a newcomer either. The DJ and producer saw Alone No More with Phillip George reach #1, has already remixed Ellie Goulding, Olly Murs and Lady Gaga and performed at Creamfields and Tomorrowland.
If You Love Me, Show Me begins this narrative, since Pixie knows that all stories, pages or even chapters of love are full of metaphors, hyperboles, and diminutives. Sincerely, or not, they are nothing more than words and, we all know, "words are but wind". But at the same time aren´t there so many things to which we do not value and are the complements of these words, but we take them for granted?  When someone rushes to the subway after a day of work just to see you, spends endless hours in the traffic to go to dinner together, shares the last ten pounds on the wallet wallet to eat pizza with you and, more than that, makes you happy just because you see his/her eyes sparkling every time he/she sees you? Perhaps this is a very deep reading of a song with joyful and danceable beats.
Therefore, in the world, not everything is measurable or eternal, but this song came, if not, to make us happy a spring wednesday, when we are in need of another fresh Somersby ... because company we already have it and there are no words to describe it!

Nas relações descartáveis que temos, ou pelo menos, que dizem que temos, entramos a 100% ou então devagar, não vá essa paixão nos espetar na primeira parede que nos aparece à frente. Seja de uma maneira, ou de outra, muitas vezes afirmamos que os defeitos de quem está ao nosso lado, não só nos repela, como também nos faz querer afastar e, muitas vezes, crer que não estamos destinados um ao outro. Não será o contrário? Não serão esses supostos "defeitos" pelos quais nos devemos apaixonar, já que a simpatia, a corpo e o sentido de humor derretem o coração de qualquer um?
Dúvidas, personalidade e relações à parte, Ain't Giving Up traz-nos certezas ao nos dizer que mesmo que esse percurso a dois seja difícil ou, à partida, não esteja a correr da melhor maneira, não devemos desistir se esse amor realmente existe. Se não quisermos ser tão minuciosos na leitura deste single,afirmamos que Craig David com Following My Intuition, dezasseis anos depois de Born To Do It e da mistura de UK Garage e R'N'B despretensioso, está de volta e cheio de força (não tivesse o seu álbum atingido o nº 1 da UK Album Chart). Ain't Giving Up com Sigala traz-nos uns agradáveis vocais com umas batidas bem fescas para os dias quentes. Para além disso, o Remix EP só nos faz querer ouvir ainda mais, uma vez que Wide Awake nos prepara uma festa EDM, White N3rd nos faz recuar no tempo e sentir que ouvimos Artful Dodger em 2017, Tone reconstrói e oferece um r'n'b próximo do single Rendez-Vous e Freejack quase que faz um mashup desta faixa com Show Me Love de Robin S, Laidback Luke e Steve Angello.
Assim, tal como esta edição,sê criativo, mistura e remistura, não cries expectativas, partilha, aprende, muda e não desistas. Afinal, a (tua) vida, as paixões e os amores são sempre uma aprendizagem porque nunca, e por mais que aches o contrário, vais crescer se desistires!

In the disposable relationships that we have, or at least we are said to have, we enter them 100% or slowly, as we do not want that passion to drive us against a wall. Either one way or the other, we often affirm that the flaws of those around us not only repel us, but also make us want to turn away and often believe that we are not meant to be. Is it not the other way around? Aren’t these supposed "flaws" for which we should fall in love with, since affection, body and sense of humor melt anyone’s heart?
Doubts, personality and relationships aside, Ain’t Giving Up brings us certainty by telling us that even if this two-way journey is difficult or, for starters, is not going well, we should not give up if there is love. If we do not want to be so thorough in reading this single, we say that Craig David with Following My Intuition, sixteen years after Born To Do It and the mix of UK Garage and unpretentious R'N'B, is back and full of strength (as his album hit # 1 on the UK Album Chart). Ain’t Giving Up with Sigala brings us some nice vocals with some really good beats for hot days. In addition, the Remix EP just makes us want to hear even more, since Wide Awake prepares us for an EDM party, White N3rd takes us back in time and we feel we are listening to Artful Dodger in 2017, Tone rebuilds it and offers r'n'b similar to the single Rendez-Vous and Freejack almost makes a mashup of this track with Show Me Love by Robin S, Laidback Luke and Steve Angello.
So, like this edition, be creative, mix and remix, do not create expectations, share, learn, change and do not give up. After all, (your) life, passions and love are always a learning process as you will never grow up if you give up, even if you believe otherwise.

Wheel of Fortune 2009, with new vocals, vocoders, new sound, more electronic and agressive, similar to Bodyrox, have been conquering new/old 90's lovers and new fans as it has already reched the top of some Download Charts.

To sum up, the swedish pop, even when some people don't even like it, can surprise us sometimes and, who knows, please both sides...after all, we are (again) in a revivallistic year!
