(Português/Portuguese)Hed Kandi Records acertaram em cheio quando decidiram editar no final de 2006 uma versão cover de Boogie 2Nite de Tweet pelas ex-Big Brovaz Cherise e Nadia , agora conhecidas como Booty Luv . O tema provou ser um sucesso nas discotecas e nas rádios desde que atingiu o número 2 na tabela de Singles no Reino Unido, especialmente o remix do video de Seamus Haji. Assim, a editora ofereceu às raparigas um contracto no qual é lhes permitido editar cinco singles e um álbum. Apesar do segundo single Shine (um cover de Luhter Vandross) apenas ter atingido o número 10 no Reino Unido, o mesmo estabeleceu o seu nome nas Club Charts pela Europa fora. O seu terceiro, Don’t Mess With My Man , originalmente um single que atingiu Top 20 para Lucy Pearl com a sexy En-Vogue Dawn Robinson , é agora um tema imprescindível retirado do seu novo álbum Boogie 2Nite .
O conceito dos anos 90 da música de dança, i.e. dançar-cantar-sorrir prova mais uma vez ser produtivo. Booty Luv apenas edita covers mas dá-lhes uma nova roupagem fresca e alegre, tornando-as nas sucessoras de Stonebridge quanto à promoção e qualidade dos singles editados pela Hed Kandi. (English/Inglês) Hed Kandi Records did it well when decided to release in the end of 2006 Tweet’s cover Boogie 2Nite by the two ex-Big Brovaz, namely Cherise and Nadia now known as Booty Luv. The song proved to be a club and airplay hit since it has reached nº2 in the UK Singles Charts specially the Seamus Haji remix. Due to this fact, the record label offered the girls a contract in which they are allowed to release five singles and one album. Although the second single Shine (a Luther Vandross cover) has only got into number 10 in the UK Singles Charts, it has established the girls in the club charts all around Europe and their third single has already reached nº11 and is still charting. Don’t Mess With My Man, originally a Top 20 hit by Lucy Pearl with the sexy En-Vogue Dawn Robinson, is now a must have track taken from their new album Boogie 2Nite.
The 90’s concept of great dance music, i.e. dance-sing-smile is now proven to be once again fruitful. Booty Luv only release covers but they do give a new, fresh and happy feeling to the songs and turned Hed Kandi once again a successful record label after Stonebridge’s releases. Therefore run and buy the album/singles...then start singing (at home!).
