(Português/Portuguese) Kim Sanders é o nome de umas das vocalistas da excelente banda alemã Schiller, porém não é uma novata nas andanças musicais, uma vez que fez parte do período eurodance com temas a solo (Show Me, Tell Me That You Want Me) e juntamente com Culture Beat (Pay No Mind) e Captain Hollywood Project (Impossible). Contudo, a sua carreira seguiu outra direcção, uma vez que já lançou o fabuloso Jealousy e Food For Thought em vertente mais jazz/electronica remisturado por Rainer Trüby Trio e em 2003 concretizou o que muitos já esperavam, o lançamento do seu álbum a solo. Pretty On Edge é um conjunto de 13 canções pop que não pretendem ser mais que isso, mas que alcançam com uma melodia simples e alegre aquilo que produções rebuscadas não conseguem. Assim, nem tudo o que é simples é mau, muito pelo contrário, uma vez que estamos perante letras com significado que vai para além do "Eu Amo-te" ou do "Sinto a Tua Falta", e a prova disso está em Something About You, Tricky e Still You. Em suma, esta cantora afro-americana a viver na Alemanha, é capaz de ter aquele álbum que todos vão querer ouvir enquanto sentem o calor do sol naquela praia repleta de gente!

Kim Sanders is one of the vocalists of the amazing German band Schiller, although she is not new in the music business as she belongs to the eurodance period with solo singles (Show Me, Tell Me That You Want Me) e other with Culture Beat (Pay No Mind) and with Captain Hollywood Project (Impossible). However, her music career followed a different direction, as she has already released the fabulous Jealousy and jazz/electronica single Food For Thought remixed by Rainer Trüby Trio and in 2003 she released her solo album. Pretty On Edge is a collection of 13 pop songs that do not pretend to be more than that, but with simple and happy melodies they reach what some overproductions don’t. Therefore, not all simple things are bad, as we are in front of songs that mean more than just “I Love You” or “I Miss You”, and the songs Something About, Tricky and Still You prove that. To sum up, this Afro-American singer living in Germany is perhaps the one who released the perfect album to listen on that hot crowded beach!
