All I wanna do is go to sleep
With my taped up heart and my open bottle
Me and my sheets

Life is just ups and downs ... specially when we find the love our lives, believe in those feelings and do whatever we need to in order to make that fairytale last a lifetime. However, throughout the years we may experience saddeness, joy, excitement, happiness, pain .... all just because we started to LOVE.
Clara Mae, (ex Ace of Base) the 25-year-old singer from Sweden, was recruited by the norwegian duo Kream and delivered this Lean On influenced hit single. Although music has been influenced over the past years by Major Lazer sound, this one still keeps its original production and adds a summer feeling to a very sad love story. There is also the accoustic version, as well as remixes sounding like trap music by Disto, and trips through beaches and white sands by Lash and Joe Mason.
Keep in mind that not all stories end in tears and, if in the meantime, it is just you and your sheets this Friday with an open bottle, make sure you drink a nice one and listen to good music (this is that song that even thougite sands h expresses exactly your state of mind, will be a reminder that you, only YOU, are the one that can untape your heart and enjoy life back again!).
Have a nice weekend!

robyn is back (with) honey!

by perplex3r, em 29.03.17

It wasn’t ready to be released, but I finished this version for her and Girls(..)

It wasn’t ready to be released, but I finished this version for her and Girls publicou Robyn sobre a escolha da produtora da série Girls Lena Dunham, pois esta última seleccionou este tema estando o mesmo ainda por terminar de forma a que surgisse no último episódio.
O follow up da trilogia Body Talk de 2010 inspira complexidade e melancolia, estando já a demonstrar a capacidade introspectiva, e por vezes fatalista de Robyn, tal como nos temas With Every Heartbeat, Eclipse e Hang With Me. É com a frase You're not gonna get what you need, But baby I have what you want que termina este pequeno excerto, o que nos leva a questionar se no presente capítulo do nosso livro sabemos a diferença e/ou se estamos a repetir o mesmo erro do passado.
!

A 20.08.07 Robyn was entitled to her first post on this blog when she reached number one in the UK singles chart with With Every Heartbeat and now, ten years later, it is with all the joy that we discover that a new album is coming in 2017.
Robyn began in the late 90s with true pop tunes and after taking over her career and becoming independent, due to differences with her own record company, her creativity proved to be without limits. For general joy, the adventures run not only through acoustic sounds but also electronic and dance versions along with collaborations with Röyksopp, Snoop Dog and Kleerup.
It wasn’t ready to be released, but I finished this version for her and Girls published Robyn on the choice of the producer of the series Girls Lena Dunham, as she has selected this unfinished song in order for it to appear in the last episode of the series.
The follow-up to the 2010 Body Talk trilogy inspires complexity and melancholy, already demonstrating an introspective and sometimes fatalistic side of Robyn, as in the songs With Each Heartbeat, Eclipse and Hang With Me.It's with the phrase You will not get what You need to, But baby, I have what you want that  this little excerpt finished, which leads us to wonder if in this chapter of our book you know  the difference and / or if we repeat the same mistake of the past. As far as the sound of this track is concerned, the electronic rhythms remain and although they resemble the previous album, it is still very premature to discover through which paths  one of the long awaited albums has been build upon. So, after listing a bit what is about what to come, you can always (re)discover Robyn here!

Ikea, Freddie Ljungberg and Abba …. All well-known Swedish exports. Of course, you should have added the dj, pianist and producer Rasmus Faber if (god forbid!) you don’t know him yet. He already has a great musical career with a bunch of albums and compilations and tracks that were added to critically acclaimed releases of Hed Kandi, for example. How can one describe the feeling when we listen to his tracks? Well, we can’t. In fact we have fantastic sensations of summer, love and happiness.

The Sun started to shine and nothing better than to kick off this year’s spring with the album Indian Summer, which is exactly what we have been waiting for. Does the fact that he comes from Sweden makes you feel a bit chilly? Don’t worry! He really knows how to mix electronic music with hot sounds and deep house grooves wrapped in live instrumentation.

This LP is comprised of 8 tracks with a minimum of 126 BPM and amazing collaborations with Emily McEwan, Polina Griffith, Melo and Frida Sundemo. This summer trip kicks off with Indian Summer, which for those who haven’t been to India yet, might feel the shinny colours and aromas of the country. Clear The Rain is just that, it allows you wear your sunglasses and enjoy the beach as if were there for the first time. You will continue enjoying this typical mixture of beats until Hunt You Down and Hurricane, which cools things down for a bit though the name shows the opposite, before you end with the track Take Me Dreaming … well, that’s exactly what you will say when you finish listening to album and you will pray not to wake up!

Therefore, do not expect commercial pop or dance music! Do expect a LP with real feelings and a journey through dreams. In this way Indian Summer  is capable of changing opinions for those who are always skeptical about the fact that dance music is worth buying and listening to!

IkeaFreddie Ljungberg e  Abba …

Schillout breaths electro with September!

by perplex3r, em 25.08.09

Two countries breathe music! Germany and Sweden are together in one of the most stimulating melodies soon to be released. Schiller and Petra Marklund, known as September joined forces for Breathe, included in the 2008 platinum album Sensucht (released in English as Desire) in an ambient chillout version, and it also includes other collaborations with Colbie Caillet, Kim Sanders, Lang Lang, among others.
After one of the best performances in the Polish Sopot Festival, Dave Ramone remixed the track with strong and exciting electro house beats that heighten Petra’s fantastic voice and the lyrics of the track. Sometimes we cannot breathe and it isn’t for the fact we are in love, but for the fact that we don’t know what to do; therefore the chorus says “I can’t breathe my love/ I’m swimming in the dark beside you”.
In this way, if one day we aren’t able to breathe, may it be only for the fact that we are watching Schiller live in a concert, who has already got a Opus Award for Best Sound Design of a Live Show, and not for the fact that we are lost with impossible love. In other words, Breathe won’t have a Bitter End, but a sweet beginning!

I can’t breath my love/ I’m swimming in the dark beside you”.

Tracklist:
1.
Breath Dave Ramone Radio Edit (3:28)
2. Breath Original Mix/Album Version (4:12)

*Note: These are the two availbale versions; the new remixes by David Ramone don't have a date of release yet.
