Kosheen causes Damages!

(English/Inglês)
Kosheen continue to surprise the electronic world after their astonishing and difficult to compare hit remixed by John Creamer and Stephanie K that caused psychological orgasms to all electronic music lovers, that is, of course,  Hide U (2001) (2sd video) that lasted for a very long time in all cd players all around the world. The first album Resist was followed by Kokopelli and, even though it got to number 6 in the UK Album Chart, it had less well-known singles, but we can point out the great single All in My Head. That happened due to the fact that in opposition to the first album, in Kokopelli one find more rock influences rather than the drum’n’bass beats present in Resist  more well writen lyrics.
Now, in a European Tour, Kosheen are presenting Damage (2007), from which two singles were released, namely Overkill (1st video) and Guilty. In that way, we have 2 things in 1, as we feel the synthesizers together with great lyrics in Sian’s voice.  Those are the reasons why the critics are unanimous in saying that this is an interesting, well accomplished and superb album. However, those are only the good news, as they don’t have any concert planned in Portugal, but if you travel in Europe this summer you might be able to listen to the great voice of Sian, while you drink cold vodka.
In conclusion, if you look for the meaning of Overkill in the dictionary you will find:
Overkill: excessive use of, so that its impact or effect is reduced. But that’s what you will not feel while you listen to Kosheen’s (r)evolutionary sound.
