love and OTHER GIRL(s)

by perplex3r, em 03.05.17

English/Inglês
When we count the days, the hours, the weeks and gather everything and we get years and the years of relationships. Some are just small paragraphs of handwritten pages, others turn into little newspaper pamphlets, and for better or for worse, some are books with pages and pages of events, full of tears, of hugs, some selfishness. Nothing is easy when it is over, but this experience may well be enriching, building a new personality and getting the best the other has offered us, but above all, growing up without ever ceasing to be ourselves.
Other Girl by Morgan Page with Rayla portrays the end of a relationship, in which one is not able to bet on sincerity, to come to the moment of saying "I do not love you anymore" and not because we can not say (just) due to cowardice, but because, secretly, we have started writing lines of stories with another person. To discover this, in this way, we come up with sentences like "you are not what I thought you were", and maybe he/she wasn’t, since the other has to be himself, since day one, and we should not (even though it is difficult) imagine things as we want them to be. In the end, the time building castles and princes and princesses should already be gone.
So, more than being a sad song, Other Girl becomes a positive experience, a breakup song which opens our eyes, free us from everything that is not positive and makes us live a life with a cheerful smile. You are not more or less than the other girl, you are just you and, simply, you wouldn’t go anywhere if you would continue to be in this story, you would become a character on a long soap opera.  Therefore it is the best to love the extended version of the song, enjoy the vocals of the beautiful Rayla and the production of this producer who has already won two grammies and has already remixed Katy Perry and The Temper Trap, for example.

BEACHBALL ... yeah! let's go to da beach!

Aproveita!

The temperature has risen over the last few days, there are already towels on the sand and a scent of sunscreen floats in the air air, but that everyone already knew ... but to this taste of summer a track that would open the summer season in a unimaginable month was missing. That's why Nalin & Kane brought Beachball to tell us that we are not crazy to dive into the cold waters of the northern beaches because the summer came earlier.
Nalin & Kane are a duo of German producers composed by Andry Nalin and Harry Kane who in 1997 reached number 1 with this single, provoked a buzz in electronic music, then remixed classics like Da Hool's Meet Her At The Love and Cafe Del Mar De from Energy 52. It will be, then, almost a birthday edition that the remixes by Sebastian Schilde brings to us in 2017, retaining the feeling and the original vocals of the first edition. For some, it will not bring big parties on the beach, but no doubt that124Bpm will make you grab a few beers, two or three friends and allow yourself to enjoy the sunset on a hot day. For now, we are expecting some remixes but, released by Kontor Records, there is only the radio and the extended versions that will cheer up your Monday.
In short, start unpacking like your flip-flops take off your swimming trunks and beachballs .... and since tomorrow is a holiday, how about Beachballin' with friends? Enjoy!

Warning / Aviso: Eargasmic track! Naughty .... but nice!

It's Friday and we are almost all leaving our offices, schools and everything that makes us yearn for the weekend. We can forsee a late afternoon with a table full of beers from all over the world, a hazy look behind the sunglasses, a flirt while queueing for the bar and lots of laid back laughter. That's when we can take the sentence I can teach you a thing or two and give it all the correct connotation when the time we feel hotter arrives .... and this heat is caused by  anything but the weather!
That's why, Yeah Yeah 2017 (nº1 Billboard's Dance Club Songs)  is there to accompany you through the night ... and even into the morning, in that after party that (for sure?) you can go. Originally released in 2007 (nº2 UK Charts) by Bodyrox, the anniversary version is produced by Dave Audé, but retains the fabulous, eccentric and powerful voice of Luciana (she's already a reference in this blog and has collaborated with Martijn Ten Velden, Richard Vission and Mark Knight) and adds all the beats and loops for any party this year. The version of the video is much more aggressive ... not advisable to those who fear a dancefloor full of lights, sunglasses, and and loads of drinks, as it can cause an eargasm right there. The version was remixed by Tom Staar and is extremely addictive and for many it may represent the sound needed for 7 a.m..
It will be on the dancefloor or even around noon, after we crawl through the streets to get home, drinking water and feeling the sun and the world is already awaken, that you can teach something ... or more than one ! We all know there are things that it is not necessary to be a teacher to teach ....
Have a nice weekend!

WHAT IS LOVE ... the eternal question!

by perplex3r, em 05.04.17

English / Inglês
What is Love is probably the question that goes through several pages of our books, sometimes in short or long chapters, sometimes very happy or sad ... after all, so many years later, we can still and always (?) question what love is, can't we? From the moments when we fell in love and stole a kiss for the first time in the kindergarten, not knowing very well what those butterflies in the belly meant to the the time, years later, when they join the admiration, the desire of the body, the conception of a relationship (whatever it may be).
In 1993, in the eurodance version by Haddaway we had the chance to ask with some joy but now Lost Frequencies revisits the theme in a much more introspective way, making the single from the album Less is More tuned for little warmer afternoons when we travel, alone, through the several kilometers of the walkways on the beaches of Gaia and we, once in a while, see joyful, tired and smiling faces. There are also remixes of Demitri Vegas and Like Mike, which are just suitable for EDM parties, by Rose (added to the Spotify playlist) and Zonderling in which both add a feeling much closer to classic house, making these philosophical questions become much more enjoyable with a chilled Martini Bianco and friends around us.
The video shows the love we have for sports and those who are by our side whenever something goes wrong and that lead us, in a way, to find some possible answers to this question. So, 23 years after the release of the first version, even with another electronic and danceable mixture, we are still shuffled with all the paths that this question takes us ... So, we only have to go one by one with this song, in search of a(ny) conclusion!
